Who are we?
We are an AAT Licensed Bookkeeping Practice authorised to provide services in Bookkeeping, Preparing Final Accounts for Sole Traders and Partnerships and Computerised Accounting Systems. We embed Data into our approach as we feel modern Bookkeeping requires a different approach.
Why Data?
Data Management and Recording is at the heart of Modern Bookkeeping, however confidence with Data Literacy is not where it needs to be for many Businesses and organisations. Statistics show that while 87% of Business Owners expect Basic Data Skills from their employees, only 25% of the Global Workforce feels confident in their Data Skills
Cloud Accounting Systems and New Regulations has made Data Literacy not only a valuable skill, but an Essential foundation in order to manage a Business effectively. Helping Business Owners understand not only how to use Cloud Accounting Software, but also what good data should look like we feel needs to be at the heart of Bookkeeping Practitioners approaches.

Ultimately, both Bookkeeping and Data Management are about recording information accurately, transparently to provide a written record of past events. Riley Data and Accountancy was developed from this intersection. Our approach is to treat Data Management as a core tenant of the Bookkeeping Process, hence empowering our staff and customers to not just become Digitally Native, but digitally confident in how they handle, process, and interpret Financial Information.
Meet Our Expert Team
Director - Bayhano Riley BSc (Hons), AATQB
Bayhano Riley is an AAT Licensed Bookkeeper and Psychology Graduate, who never saw himself as a Finance Professional. He discovered he had a penchant for Data Analysis during his Psychology Degree, and later completed a Skills Bootcamp in Analysing Data. After two years of working in Housing Finance for G15 Housing Associations, he wanted to apply the skills that he had learnt to work with smaller organisations on a more individual basis and set up Riley Data and Accountancy to achieve his goal.
